The 200-meter medley relay team of Daniel Cornejo, Spencer Eidson, Cory Dean and Tyler Drake won broke a district record and brought home the gold medal during the Feb. 4 district swim meet hosted by Hobbs.

Led by Danielle Patterson, the Lady Eagles fought back from a 10-point third-quarter deficit to beat Clovis 44-40 at home on Feb. 3.

Both the Highland girls and boys teams beat Houston on Feb. 2 to win the border conference basketball championships for their schools.
