HMS is providing the following videos showing how the HMS SSL Inspection certificate can be imported into different devices. By importing the certificate, you will prevent Security warnings in your browser.
Please remember these steps can differ depending on the operating system and/or browser in use. These videos are intended to be used as a guide, not step-by-step instructions.
Anyone using Firefox, Android, iOS, or a Mac on HMS networks will be required to have this certificate installed, regardless of if the device is provided by the district. If the device is a windows device provided by HMS the certificate will be pre-installed for Internet Explorer and Chrome browsers.
For anyone using a personal device on HMS networks the certificate will be required regardless of the device type or browser. By connecting to HMS networks on a personal device, you acknowledge that HMS will inspect and log all traffic including secure traffic from your device.
