Dr. Yann Lussiez currently works for the Legislative Finance Committee as a Program Evaluator providing programmatic and budgetary recommendations that improve performance and increase accountability for higher education and public schools. Previously, he served as a charter school director at Rio Gallinas School for Ecology and the Arts, primary school principal, MEF International School, Istanbul, Turkey, and principal at El Dorado Community School. He has been a K-12 art teacher, high school French Teacher, elementary teacher, and Peace Corp Volunteer in the Central African Republic. An avid photographer and painter, Dr. Lussiez has made numerous presentations on his doctoral work on the role of empathy in leadership, creating caring communities, and the relationship between social emotional learning and the arts. |
