Thanks to the Hobbs Hispano Chamber of Commerce and its Foundation, Hobbs second and fifth-graders got to experience the music, dress and traditions of a Marachi Christmas during a performance Monday morning at Tydings Auditorium.

3rd and 6th Graders from across Lea County got to experience a "Marachi Christmas," at Tydings Auditorium on Friday, courtesy of the Hobbs Hispano Chamber of Commerce, which sponsored the performance.

"Feliz Navidad"

On December 17th 2010 the 4th and 6th Grade students of Hobbs were treated to "A Mariachi Christmas" at Tydings Auditorium. The concert hall was filled for an hour with music and dance from the Mexican Culture.

Over 2000 teachers, principals and students raised the roof at Tydings Auditorium with their cheers and finished the event by everyone singing Feliz Navidad together.

Hobbs second and fourth-graders received an early holiday treat when they got to sit in on a complimentary Mariachi Christmas performance at Tydings Auditorium on Friday morning. This event was put on by our community partner the Hobbs Hispano Chamber of Commerce.
