Thanks for visiting the HMS web site. Our purpose is to promote a home-school-community connection vital to the success  of  our students. HMS is  "committed to excellence” and works hard to make this site a primary source of timely information for all users.

Attention Parents: Beginning July 6 and continuing through Aug. 9, Edison Elementary at 501 E. Gypsy will provide breakfast and lunch free of charge for any child between the ages of 1 and 18 Monday through Friday. Breakfast will be served in the cafeteria between 8:10 a.m.-8:50 a.m. and lunch from 12:30 p.m.-1:10 p.m. All meals must be eaten on site. No carry out plates will be offered.

HMS students are receiving specialized instruction in how to play the guitar, violin and accordion during a two-week "String Camp" that culminates with a June 22 concert at noon in the HHS Little Theater.
