BTW kindergartners acted out Mother Goose nursery rhymes during a Core Knowledge play on Friday. Among other characters, they portrayed Humpty Dumpty and all the King's men (left) as well as Mary and her little lamb (right).

Will Rogers first graders presented a musical drama, Little Red Riding Hood, on Nov. 18, part of the school's new emphasis on the arts this school year.

There were many Booker T. Washington actors that let their talent shine on Friday April 8th on the Booker T. Washington Stage.

All Ears! 

BTW kindergartner Kaleigh Tarin is all ears as she rehearses her part -- a pair of ears -- for an upcoming play with Juston Harlin. Patrick Rooney, in the meantime, is "skin." The local actor has spent all week working with BTW's 5-year-olds in preparation for their debut performance at 1 p.m.

 



 



 

 

 

Treasure Island


Edison Elementary had a play "Treasure Island" that they are working on for this Spring.  The cast performed for the school on May 17th, 2010.

We have talented schools like Stone Elementary that can organize a play just for their school.  Mason played the lead in Stone's March 5th 2009 performance of "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer."
