April 1 Addendum

I’m an Advanced Placement student. Will I be taking the AP exam this year?’
Please see this link for information

I want to apply for enrollment in the Hobbs Dual Credit Academy next year.  What is the status?

In order to enroll, students must complete a placement test. The NMJC testing center is currently closed, and with no scheduled date to reopen. Likewise, we are not allowed to test on HHS campus. We are working on a plan to insure that students get an equitable opportunity to apply for Hobbs Dual Credit Academy. Hopefully, we will have a plan in place about requirements for acceptance and application due dates and instructions for turning those applications early next week. That information will be conveyed to students via School Messenger and posted on our school website and announcement page. Enrollment at NMJC has also been postponed until later this semester, so no one is being left out or not being given the opportunity to apply. Please email Yvonne Carpenter for further questions.

My student attends an out-of-zone school or would like to next year. What is the deadline for submitting applications?

The  April 1 registration date has been postponed until April 8. Applications  at that time will be online and time stamped in order to process on a first-come, first served basis if room is available at the school for which the transfer is sought.  The application link will be available at Hobbs schools website beginning at 7:30 a.m. April 8.

I missed Supt. Parks’ live Facebook live community meeting on March 31.  Can I view it somewhere:
