ELD Standards
Open to all teachers K-12, bilingual, resource.
This introduction to the English Language Development (ELD) Standards Framework is based on a student-centered, teacher-focused approach to engage English learners (ELs) in academic language development.  This interactive workshop provides a foundation for participants who are new to the WIDA ELD Standards (mentioned in the NM TEACH rubrics). They will engage in hands-on activities that explore academic language to enhance student language learning in the classroom.  This workshop has been designed for k-12 teachers, language specialists, administrators, and support staff.

Meltdown and Behavior K-12
Open to all K-12
Meltdown and Behavioral strategies for both Regular Education and Special Education Children.
Kathy Morris will be back to present her expertise on  how to prevent and be proactive with hard to handle students, autistic students, or ones that experience meltdowns and behaviors with accessible interventions that she shares. You will walk away from this training with ideas and access to hands on strategies to take right into the classroom. Over 300 staff have been trained this year with Kathy and had great reviews to bring her back!

"What Is It About Me you Don't Like?"
Open to all K-12
Guy Morris will further speak about emotional disorders and behavior disorders. His specialty is working with teenagers with behavior disorders. He has many practical strategies, is very funny, and is a retired administrator that has gone back to his first love, working with teenagers with behavior disorders.

ELA and Math Part 1
Open to K-5 grade level teachers
Part 1 ELA - whole group vs small group utilization and effective implementation component requirement for Literacy Instruction.
Part 1 Math - 3 Steps to Success. Indentifying and unpacking the required steps to effective math instruction.
