Facility Assessment Community Team members met recently with HMS Assistant Superintendent of Operations T.J. Parks, who provided an update on bond projects suggested by the group nearly three years ago.
The result of their recommendations was a successful bond election in 2008 and major construction projects, which include the Hobbs Freshman High School on the HHS campus, Warehouse/Maintenance Facility and Central Office Remodeling.
Parks reported that projects thus far are within the $47 million budget, meaning that all of the items will be built as envisioned by the FACT team during
its original deliberations. In addition to the report, FACT members, including Kristy Mosley and Manny Gomez, toured construction sites on Feb. 26. For more, click on the picture.
